I am Arpita Kar, the artist behind Indi Handicrafts. My journey with art began long before this brand was born. Since childhood, I have found quiet joy in filling pages with patterns, colors, and stories that spoke to my heart. Over the years, this grew into a way of connecting deeply with India’s cultural soul, and today it continues to inspire every piece I create.
Indi Handicrafts was created from a simple dream: to keep alive the tradition of handmade art in a world that often rushes past it. Each piece is signed and crafted with attention to detail, blending traditional techniques with a contemporary spirit.

Where does Indi Handicrafts get its products?
Every piece at Indi Handicrafts is created in-house by our artist, Arpita Kar, or sourced directly from skilled craftsmen across India. Arpita’s original designs, from intricate madhubanis to expressive art prints, form the heart of our collection. Whether crafted by her or curated from traditional artisans, we guarantee the authenticity and originality of every product we offer.
How do I know if my order is confirmed?
You will receive an email to confirm receipt of order. To check the status of your order, go to the My Orders section under My Account. When items in your order ship, we will add tracking information to this page. We will also email you when there is a status update to your order.
What if an item is Sold Out?
We will be happy to help. Please contact us at info@indihandicrafts.com with your request to produce another unit of the sold out item. We will check with the artist and let you know if the item can be produced and how long will it take.
Is my personal information kept private?

Is it safe to use my credit card or provide bank details on Indi Handicrafts?
Yes, it is completely safe to pay on Indi Handicrafts using your credit card, debit card or through a bank transfer. Indi Handicrafts does not store any customer credit card or financial information on its servers. All transactions are processed through our payment gateway partners.

Does Indi Handicrafts charge GST?
Yes. Indi Handicrafts is GST-registered. At present, a 5% GST is applicable on all original handmade paintings and will be added at checkout in addition to the product price.
